Prior to forming her consulting company, Annette worked for 15 years as a scientist specializing in the sensory properties of foods and beverages. A sought-after speaker and writer, she has presented at the Society of Sensory Professionals and for corporations such as McCormick & Company and has authored several publications in leading professional journals such as Appetite, Food Quality and Preference and the Journal of Sensory Studies. When not hard at work, you can find Annette at home outside of Baltimore, MD with her husband, two children and Balinese cats. She is an avid reader of cookbooks and nutrition related literature and enjoys yoga, jogging, playing the piano and refinishing furniture.
